In this lesson, we’ll walk you through setting up the union benefits that comprise the collective agreement. After that, we’ll reference them in a way that allows Abio to automatically generate invoices for union remittances.

Next, we’ll show you how to define the wage schedule as prescribed in the collective agreement for each occupation in each union.

You can set wage premiums for extra duties, such as First Aid attendants and Shop Stewards. You can also vary the amount of a premium on an employee by employee basis. Premiums for special skills and certifications, such as welding chrome or alloys can be defined. Extra hourly amounts can be paid for work done on night shifts. And, you have the ability to award different shift premiums at each level for a trade, from apprentice levels to Journeyman, Foreman, and General Foreman.
