When there are many different companies and/or affiliations, they can be grouped into families. Minimally there must be one family and within that family there must be one set of books.
When you sign on, companies will be organized by family. If there’s just one company in a family, it will be listed on its own. You can select a family and then select a company within that family.
If you are working with a single company, you’ll connect to it and not see any other selections.
To add a family of books, navigate to [i] Administration, then [a] Family Entry.
The name will be displayed under the company menu, order by the order field.
In this example there are four companies in the Abio Demonstration Group. The ‘Set of Books form a Different Group’ is in a group by itself, so it doesn’t display in a family.
