The invoice generated has a summary line for each type of billable found on the daysheets. When you print this entry screen:

Besides the content of the invoice itself, there are three ways to customize your invoices, as shown by the orange lines:

  • Two template styles are available, either a banner, as shown here, or with a logo in the top left corner
  • Critical information, such as how to pay the invoice, displays immediately after the invoice items,
  • A custom footer can be displayed at the bottom of the invoice.

If we change the invoice template from ‘Invoice with Banner’ to ‘Classic’

The invoice will be formatted this way:

Besides the two different styles, you can compose your own rich text messages and footers, and select the appropriate ones for each invoice. To create these, navigate to the Invoice Attachment screen. In the navigation pane, select [b] for the Receivables subsystem, then [u] for Set Up, then [m] for Invoice Attachments Entry:

The Invoice Attachments use richtext, which allows you to select your own fonts and colours, much like a word processor. The fonts are selected in the toolbar:

To change the colour of your message, select the Change action, then select the part of the message you want to change and right click and select Properties…
